Cardio tennis draws good crowd in Cannonvale
SENIOR social tennis and cardio tennis dominated the courts this week.
Tuesday and Saturday afternoon tennis are also going from strength to strength.
These mature young people play with touch and tactics often leaving their younger opponents chasing the ball all over the court.
Tuesday and Thursday evening played non-stop tennis with Norm Hold, Rick Galea and Keith Miles in top form.
In cardio tennis news all sessions were well attended.
Friday cardio was a hot session weather wise and on court but this did not stop those attending from giving it their all. Aaron Stevenson was particularly impressive. In junior news Trent Murray issued a challenge to his coach Jamie Kirkman for a game of singles.
The challenge was accepted and they played a great match. Coaching pupil of the week was Jessica Renton. Social tennis is available on Tuesday and Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm and Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm start. Cardio tennis is on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
