AIRLIE Beach will have a rocking new venue this Friday night with the grand opening of Boom Nightclub.

It is upstairs in the main street of Airlie Beach, where former nightclub Evolution was previously located. Whitsunday businessman Luke Anderson and his two business partners Cameron MacRae and Ian Galletly, believe the nightlife in Airlie Beach is on the rise and saw Boom as a great opportunity to bring a stylish boutique nightclub to town.

“We wanted to design a club that would rival some of the classiest clubs in the biggest cities because we didn’t want the locals to miss out,” Mr Anderson said.

The club is loaded with special features including a spectacular gold flake floor, which Mr Anderson says is the only one of its kind in Australia.

It is also fitted out with state of the art sound and lighting equipment which includes a 6m handmade LED light wall to delight partygoers.

Live in the mix all night are Boom’s resident DJ’s the Miller Brothers, who will play the best remixes in house, dance and electro.

They will be paving the way for Brisbane’s latest DJ protégé Simon Says who will be shredding the decks with his unique sound of minimal underground from 2am.

Club manager Freddie Elachkar’s goal is to provide locals with a world-class place to party and he is committed to delivering great customer service.

With iconic black and gold de- cor the club will leave a lasting impression on partygoers, and women will go weak at the knees at the sight of the designer bathrooms.

Some huge acts who have never performed locally before will be announced in the near future, helping to grow the afterdark scene in the Whitsundays, already known to be at the forefront of the music industry in North Queensland. Doors open tomorrow night at 10pm with free entry for all guests before 11pm.

READY TO PARTY: Denise Archer, Michael Miller, Boom Nightclub owners Luke Anderson and Cameron MacRae, Robyn Tille, Mitch Blain, assistant bar manager Julie Yates, Elise Mairs, Chelsea Peazold and bar manager Freddie Elachkar are looking forward to celebrating the offical opening of Boom Nightclub this Friday night.
