What do you like the most about the Airlie Beach main street upgrade?

Whitsunday Times - - WHITSUNDAY VIEWS -

Tony Fossey, Airlie Beach: I think the main street looks great and the overall landscaping is fantastic. I just hope that the businesses continue to follow suit and upgrade as well. KC's Bar and Grill looks great. Alli Scott, Cannonvale: I love it. It is wonderful to have traffic flowing in both directions and it is much easier to find car park spaces. It adds to the beauty of the Whitsundays and has great visual appeal. Carolyne Hanks, Cannonvale: It's a vast improvement and the street looks a lot cleaner. Parking is much more accessible in the street especially for quick 5-10 minute stops. It's great to see new businesses opening. Peter Taylor, Hydeaway Bay: The extra walkways along the shopfronts are a fantastic addition and the street as a whole looks a lot better than what it was. There is a positive vibe in town and it's a great place for a day outing. Megan Broad, Airlie Beach: It's great it's finished because we have lived just off the main street for the entire length of the project. There is a new nightclub and other businesses opening. Overall it looks better. Steve Bell, Jubilee Pocket: The roundabout at the entrance of main street is a pain but I love the development overall because it just adds to the image of the Whitsundays being paradise. Airlie is growing but I hope it keeps the small town feel. Jimbo Fox, Sugarloaf: The development has completely rejuvenated the entire street and the atmosphere is positive. I think we will see a lot more businesses opening but I would like to see the buses removed from the main street.
