Former resident marrries on the Sunshine Coast
FORMER Whitsunday resident Danielle Collins married the man of her dreams, Rory Dowdall on Saturday, November 24.
The wedding was held at Maleny at a stunning location in the mountains of the Sunshine Coast with a captivating yet conservative old-fashioned theme.
About 70 people attended the event with guests travelling from as far as Singapore to share the happy couple’s special day.
Danielle’s father, Kevin Collins is a long term Airlie Beach businessman and a current Whitsunday Regional Councillor.
He said walking
his daughter down the aisle was the most special thing a father could do.
Danielle lived in the Whitsundays for 17 years and attended Cannonvale State School before going on to graduate from Proserpine State High School in 2006.
The 24-year-old then relocated to Brisbane and is currently in her fifth year of medicine at the University of Queensland.
Her husband Rory is a biomedical science graduate.
The couple are honeymooning in Singapore and the Maldives.
