Ladies enjoy great conditions
PROSERPINE GOLF LADIES
FINE weather and a golf course in fantastic condition greeted 16 ladies last Wednesday for a stableford competition.
Tina Badenhorst revelled in the conditions to come in with 42 points and take first place.
Bernice Petersen placed second on a count back from Toni Clauss and Viv Demartini.
All three ladies had 34 points.
Nearest-the-pin winners were Mandy Patterson on hole 9 and Lyn Muller on 11.
From now until official competition begins in the first week in February, ladies may still play each Wednesday in a stableford competition format.
They need to nominate and pay at the clubhouse.
There is no specific hit off time so playing groups may decide this to suit themselves.

On Sunday it looked like it was going to be a little damp but the Dawnies did not get rained on playing the back 9.
The winner of the monthly mug competition was Ted Evans with 52/46, runner-up was Beryl Nosworthy 57/50 and third place went to Jim Evans with 54/51.
