Social tennis a hit with locals
THURSDAY evening social tennis continues to be great night out with plenty of players having a ball out on the courts.
It was an upbeat affair of tennis with plenty of laughs to be had.
Regular players Lesley Nolan, Jenny Southern, Norm Hold and coach Jenny Kirkman were all out on court giving their best.
Tuesday and Saturday afternoon tennis were both well attended and Kay Hoare and Betty Wilson played some wonderful doubles.
Cardio tennis sessions were full of excitement with a number of the ladies partaking in the cooler evening session, which was played at a cracking pace.
With school nearly over it was a wonderful sight to have Aaron and Tash Stevenson with their children Jacob and Nyrie do cardio as a family affair.
Coaching pupils of the week were twins Oliver and Flynn Purcell.
They put their best feet forward and hit some wonderful serves throughout the week.
Training session will be held early in the new year, with dates to be advised.
