THREE drink-drivers were picked up by Proserpine Police over the past week. The first was on Friday morning when a P-plater blew 0.067 after a big night out. The next was on Friday evening when a learner driver blew 0.047. Lastly, on Monday evening police intercepted an unlicensed driver in his unregistered and uninsured car, who returned a reading of 0.124.
Officer in Charge of the Proserpine station Acting Sergeant Timothy Farran said police would be ramping up random breath tests as this number of drink-drivers was unacceptable.
