Whitsunday Times - - YOUR HOME YOUR BACKYARD -

ENERGY and water-efficient homes are looked upon favourably due to rising electricity and water costs, and now many homeowners are searching for ways to lower their energy consumption and not only improve their property’s resale value, but also reduce their outgoing expenses.

Total Kitchen Designs owners Marty and Kate Taylor believe the kitchen is an integral part of any home and offer professional advice to help homeowners achieve their energy goals.

“Unique LED lighting displays are a popular addition to any kitchen, home or commercial property because they are energy efficient and help reduce the cost of your power bills,” Mr Taylor said.

“We also offer professional advice on a range of electrical appliances that are energy efficient and we can install them into your kitchen in the most user-friendly way possible.”

Total Kitchen Designs have won multiple Housing Industry Awards (H.I.A) for kitchen construction and design, and will be celebrating their 20th birthday milestone next year.

Mr Taylor said the business prided itself on high quality workmanship, customer service and supporting the development of local youth.

Trade apprentice Bank Bunset is a Proserpine State High School graduate who started a school based apprenticeship in October 2011.

He was awarded the Torgas 2013 School-based Apprentice of the Year and has gone on to gain fulltime employment as a second year apprentice with Total Kitchen Designs.
