Community spirit alive for new owners of pizza store
THE new owners of Dominos Airlie Beach, Ryan and Kate Comas, are excited about bringing their business expertise to the Whitsundays, extending their Dominos franchise from Ayr to Airlie Beach.
The successful multi-unit franchisees believe Airlie is the next business hotspot.
They have owned and operated Domino’s Ayr for two years and have always felt a strong connection to Airlie Beach.
Both Ryan and Kate have grown up in North Queensland and have spent a lot of time enjoying the waters and islands of the Whitsundays as well as the local vibe.
“We’ve loved operating Domino’s Ayr. In fact we’ve been so overwhelmed with the positive response to the store that we knew we wanted to expand,” Mr Comas said.
“It was just a matter of timing and when we heard about the opportunity in Airlie, it sounded too good to pass up.
“We both have such nostalgic feelings about Airlie Beach and working in store and meeting customers will be a great way to integrate into the local community. We have achieved consistent five star operations ratings in Ayr and we’re going to take the same high standard over to Airlie Beach, no stone will be left unturned!”
As well as making pizzas, the store is also very interested in lending their support to a number of local community groups throughout the area.
“We’ve supported many local causes from sports clubs and local schools in Ayr, and we will continue to support the local community with future charitable endeavours in Airlie Beach,” Mr Comas said.
They invite local sporting, clubs or school organisations to contact them on 4967 7133 to discuss fundraising or sponsorship support.
