Whitsunday Times - - WHITSUNDAY BUSINESS -

WELCOME to the first Airlie Beach Chamber of Commerce column.

The management committee greatly appreciates the Whitsunday Times support in providing such a fantastic conduit for the Chamber to communicate with the local community about all things business.

The first snippet of information that the management committee would like to share with local business owners is, that in 2014 our monthly member meetings will take place from 6pm on the second Tuesday of every month at the Airlie Beach Hotel.

The Chamber fosters, attracts and encourages the development and well-being of new and existing businesses and proactively stimulates pride, positivity and vitality within our local community.

New members are always welcome and business owners are invited to attend a meeting to learn more about the local Chamber and what membership with CCIQ (Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland) means for your business.

We do appreciate RSVP’s should you wish to attend a meeting and these can be sent via email to info@airliebeachchamber.com.au or via our Facebook site www.facebook.com/airliebeachchamberofcommerce.

In coming weeks the Chamber will be contacting businesses in relation to the Change for Change campaign, which seeks support from tourists to donate small change to the local Chamber.

The Change for Change program requires no direct financial contribution from you as a business owner, it simply requires your assistance in collecting voluntary small change contributions from your guests.

For more information or to sign up as a partner in this initiative please contact our secretary Naomi Clark on 0427 675 507.
