Close scores as weekly touch comp heats up

Wolves, who competed for the first time since moving up to the A grade competi- tion, performed well to finish in a draw with the Brahmans 6-6.
The Box Heads continued their good form this season running their way to victory over Airlie Mixed 5-1.
In B grade, Heatstroke drew with Eclipse 5-5, while the Jets edged out Blackout in a close match 8-7.
The Boaties, who played their first game in B grade, ran rings around Amalgamated posting a solid 6-2 win over the side.
New team Dingos played their first game of the season in B grade and even though they lost to Nauticool 7-0, the young side showed promise and will improve with experience.
