MORE than 90 people attended the Proserpine Whitsunday Brahmans season launch at the Metropole Hotel on Friday night.

The launch was held to announce the club’s new sponsors and release the new team jerseys for their 2014 season.

MC Benn Ryan also put the team’s coaches under the spotlight in an open interview to entertain the crowd and highlight the 2014 season.

Former Welsh international Anthony Blackwood will lead A grade in their premiership pursuit, while Hugh Middleton will take on the role of reserves coach and former Brahman Billy Boyd and Englishman Callum Wilkinson will co-coach the under-18s squad.

The Brahmans have welcomed many new faces to their ranks this year including New Zealand’s Tuki Jackson and Ivan Phenehe, Bruce Laguna, Jack Briskow, Phil Ram- age, Ethan Gallop and Sam Condlin.

Fraser said he had confidence in the boys and was feeling they could come away with the win in the season opener.
