Birthday celebration to highlight success

Whitsunday Times - - LOOK GOOD FEEL GOOD -

GOODNESS Gracious Health Foods will be celebrating its fourth birthday tomorrow (Friday, March 28) and business owner Helen Pike is encouraging all community members to experience what her store has on offer.

Ms Pike first opened the doors to the health food store in Stewart Drive, Cannonvale but relocated to its current location at the Whitsunday Shopping Centre in 2012.

She is thrilled to have reached her fourth year of business and is throwing her doors open to customers old and new tomorrow to discover the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

“The birthday celebration will be a great opportunity for people to sample a range of products and learn how they can improve their general health and wellbeing,” she said.

In an exciting new development, the business was recently renovated to offer a specialised gluten free range which includes the delicious organic Byron Bay Pies.

The gluten free pies will be available frozen but Ms Pike is looking forward to serving ready-to-eat pies in the near future.

“The coconut yoghurt which everyone has been asking for should also be on the shelves by the weekend,” she said.

“The store has grown so much from its humble beginnings and many locals have really embraced a healthy lifestyle so thank you to all of our customers for their ongoing support.”

Inside the store, there will be plenty of taste-testing displays and giveaways.

There will also be various stalls set-up outside offering the latest health foods, tarot and numerology readings with Natasha Jochim and other healthy lifestyle items.
