10,000 cruise ship passengers
MORE than 10,000 people from six cruise ships visited the Whitsundays in March.
More than 3300 passengers booked tours including a record number of 1101 from the Celebrity Solstice on March 5.
Volunteer cruise ship ambassador Judi Dunn said the comments about our region continued to be positive with passengers describing the people and place as beautiful.
Another cruise ship visited on April 1 and the next scheduled visit is the Pacific Dawn on April 14.
