Ro­tary recog­nises 19 staff for hav­ing pride in their work

THE Ro­tary Club of Air­lie Beach pre­sented Pride of Work­man­ship awards to 19 lo­cal em­ploy­ees on Mon­day night.

“Pride of Work­man­ship” is a Ro­tary pro­gram which en­ables man­agers to help em­ploy­ees achieve the goal of job sat­is­fac­tion and pub­licly rec­og­nize them for their ef­forts.

Par­tic­i­pat­ing businesses pro­mote the Pride of Work­man­ship theme of "Do it once - Do it well".

The MC on the night was Ro­tar­ian Bob Bo­gie who con­grat­u­lated all award win­ners. The awards are pre­sented an­nu­ally by Ro­tary Clubs through­out Aus­tralia.

The pro­gram was started by the Ro­tary Club of Pen­nant Hills in NSW in 1975.

Em­ploy­ers nom­i­nate em­ploy­ees wor­thy of recog­ni­tion not only within their or­gan­i­sa­tion but the wider com­mu­nity.

The nom­i­nees on Mon­day night were each pre­sented with a tro­phy in recog­ni­tion of their achieve­ment.
