Ladies bring home bronze from NQ Games

JUDO

MEM­BERS of the Kamiza Judo Club in Proser­pine, Jade and Court­ney Flynn proudly brought home bronze medals af­ter com­pet­ing in the North Queens­land Games in Townsville on the weekend.

It was Jade’s first com­pe­ti­tion ex­pe­ri­ence and she thrived un­der the pres­sure.

Both girls have a few bruises af­ter com­pet­ing against some of the best judo fighters in the re­gion in what was an ex­tremely close and com­pet­i­tive com­pe­ti­tion.

They are both hop­ing to im­prove on their bronze medals and skills in fu­ture com­pe­ti­tions.
