Touch footy stop­ping for school hol­i­days

THERE will be no touch games for the next two weeks due to school hol­i­days, with play re­sum­ing on on Mon­day, April 28.

Games were played on Mon­day night, to catch up on the rounds missed due to rain ear­lier in the sea­son.

Go On Then de­feated Wolves 4-3 in a tight game with Go On Then’s free flow­ing at­tack win­ning through.

The Jets drew 4 all with the Boat­ies, while Black­out de­feated Amal­ga­mated 6-3.

Brah­mans beat Air­lie Mixed 10-2, with the Air­lie Mixed team de­pleted due to school hol­i­days.

Box­heads de­feated Whit­sun­day Food 6-4 and Eclipse de­feated Din­goes 7-4. The young Din­goes play­ers are im­prov­ing ev­ery week and were just let down by some dropped balls in the wet con­di­tions when try­ing to push the pass.

The old and more ex­pe­ri­enced play­ers in Eclipse con­trolled the ball bet­ter in the sec­ond half. 2PT’s de­feated Nau­ti­cool 5-4, while Pow­ered by Mur­phy for­feited to Ray White as many play­ers were on school hol­i­days.
