Baldies to host Trop­i­cal Cup over Easter

THE Whit­sun­day Bald Ea­gles will once again be host­ing the Trop­i­cal AFL Masters 12’s Cup over the Easter weekend.

This unique con­cept in­volves in­di­vid­ual play­ers nom­i­nat­ing to be drafted into a team to play off for a $500 first prize and a $250 run­nerup prize.

The weekend will be­gin with a player draft and bar­be­cue at the Air­lie Beach Bowls Club on the evening of Good Fri­day.

Games will be played on Satur­day at the Whit­sun­day Sports Park, fol­lowed by din­ner at the Ju­bilee Tav­ern.

More games will be played on Sun­day, and then ev­ery­one will head to the Reef Gate­way Ho­tel in Cannonvale.

There is also a part­ner pro­gram for the ladies with an is­land lun­cheon on Satur­day.
