There have been some wild and whacky performances including a live handstand harmonica set by local lad Jayden Longmuir and many heartfelt solo singing performances.

Gary McLeod, Helen Nichols, Aubury Vanniekerk, Sean O’Neill, Mel Saunders, Corrine Hendrikse-Vinci are just some of the locals who will be taking to the stage in the finals.

Prince of Wales Hotel owner Helen Longmuir said the talent quest was open to any comedy act, musical performance, dance act, magic show or talent of any type and encouraged everyone to give it a shot.

She said the event had been growing in popularity with every heat and commended all acts on their excellent perfor- mances. Children are welcome to enter the competition but those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is open to all members of the community and spectators are welcome to enjoy a great night of live, local entertainment.
