They (the ANZAC’S) have given us this beautiful country we live in. Without their efforts that wasn't possible and Australia wouldn't be what it is today. I will be attending a Dawn Service on the Gold Coast.

Keith Galletly

ANZAC Day is about remembering the diggers who lost their lives in Gallipoli. I will be attending the Dawn Service.

Nadia Topia

My ancestors fought in Gallipoli so it means a lot to me personally. I will be going to the Dawn Service in the park before going to the march.

Vee Randell

It's a good time to reflect and remember the sacrifices made for us. It can be lost over time but the celebration is a reminder. I will be having a barbeque with family and friends.

Luke Stacpoole

ANZAC Day is about remembering those who fought for our country so we can live in the free land we have today. I will be celebrating by having a few beers with friends and family.

Steve Johnson

It's about recognising the war dead and armed services in general. Remembering what they've given up for us. I'm here for a holiday but we will be attending a Dawn Service and looking for a Two-up venue in the afternoon.

Joan Rose

To remember the people that gave us freedom and those who currently keep us safe and sound. I will be at the Reef Gateway Hotel where the veterans will meet and talk to one another.
