DJ to bring the house down at Boom

Whitsunday Times - - CHILL -

DANNY T is a man best known for his manicured moustache as he is for his manic style of music and will be performing live at Boom Nightclub this Saturday night.

Cutting his teeth deep within the sweaty, smoke-filled pits of Brisbane’s underground, Danny T is one of Queensland’s greatest exports.

Born and bred on a healthy dietary dose of Switch, Diplo, Jesse Rose and Claude Vonstroke with sprinkles of Jurassic 5 and Big L, this twentysomething facial hair aficionado transcends genres in a futuristic exploration of basslines and jacked-up grooves.

In the land of Danny T, house music reigns supreme.

His debutant releases pricked the ears of dance legend, Ajax (RIP), and his break-through release The Mean Baby EP followed shortly after.

This was followed by a succession of dance floor flavoured chart toppers including Whine Ya Waistline (feat. Oh Snap!) which took out the number one spot on the Aria Club Chart, with Sex Tonight (feat. Born I Music), Delicious (feat. Oh Snap!) and his recent African-inspired house masterpiece Serenghetto, all holding ground within the top five.

In 2012, Danny T landed his first major label release, mixing Ministry of Sound’s Clubbers Guide to 2012 compilation.

Injecting some new agecool and swag into the iconic compilation brand, the release shot to the top of iTunes and compilations charts.

Recently working re-rubs for Pirupa, Nicki Minaj, Bombs Away and Denzal Park, Danny T has been punching out hits from his sound station in Sydney and grooming his next single Rubber Ducky to perfection.
