The new subdivision is located near the propsed ferry terminal on the Jubilee Pocket side of the retail precinct.

Port of Airlie general manager Andrew Forster, who described the lots as unique propositions, wanted to ensure viewers could experience the properties from a variety of spectacular angles.

“The Cove offers rare allotments uncommon between here and Port Douglas,” he said.

“Personally I’m very proud and I’m sure The Cove will have a wonderful future here. I hope potential buyers realise how rare it [The Cove] is.” The Cove offers 23 waterfront land lots on the doorstep of what will eventually be a state-of-the-art transit hub.

The Cove also offers secure 12 x 15m marine berths for boat owners. So far seven blocks have been sold while a further two contracts have been issued.

“With the amount of interest and enquiries we’ve had, we’re very confident of more results in the next few weeks,” Mr Forster said.
