Ten­nis guns hit the court in Townsville

PROSER­PINE TEN­NIS

PROSER­PINE aces Mika Stim­son, Seth Trinder and Mia Trinder have hit the court for the Townsville Open held at the week­end.

The Can­non­vale kids each played great ten­nis, with Mika com­pet­ing in the 14-year girls divi­sion, plac­ing fourth in the sin­gles and tri­umph­ing in the dou­bles.

Seth Trinder stepped up and com­peted with the 14- year boys, pro­duc­ing ex­cel­lent ten­nis to claim fifth po­si­tion in sin­gles and third in dou­bles.

Seven-year-old Mia gave her all in the 12-year girls divi­sion, claim­ing sec­ond in the dou­bles.

The Proser­pine Ten­nis Club is ex­tremely proud of the trio’s ef­forts.

The next Ju­nior Devel­op­ment Se­ries tour­na­ment will be in Ingham on Au­gust 3031.
