Trivia night with a twist
FOR those who love trivia nights, one is being organised with a Whitsunday difference.
The Young at Hearts tourism network (YAH) with the support of Whitsundays Marketing and Development and Club Croc Hotel will hold a tourism industry trivia night on Thursday, September 4 from 6pm.
The theme of the night will be ‘Everything Whitsundays’ and your knowledge of the Whitsunday region and the local tourism industry will be tested.
YAH president Natassia Petrolati said this trivia night was a way that businesses in the region could compete against each other and have a laugh along the way.
“YAH’s mission is to put the fun back into the tourism industry and host unique networking events.
“It’s also a way we can help raise funds for a really good cause. All proceeds from the night will go towards professional development activities for tourism professionals.”
WMDL Chief Executive Officer Danial Rochford congratulated YAH for organising this event. “What a fun way to help all our tourism industry learn more about our region, Mr Rochford said
“I would like to personally invite all businesses in the region to enter a team.
“I also put out the challenge that you should watch out for the WMDL teams competitive streak on the night!”
The event will be set up for teams of 6-10, and the cost is $10 per person.
Alcohol will be available at bar prices, and a full bar menu offered on the night.
Major prize to be awarded to the winning business/ team on the night.
