ONE-SIDED matches were the theme from squash play on Tues­day morn­ing.

In to­tal eight of the 10 matches were won to love, but that trait didn’t ex­tend to San­dra Wat­son’s match with Pauline Ogilvie.

The two play­ers fin­ished with the same out of points (38); how­ever San­dra Wat­son won more sets (3-2) to be claimed win­ner.

In other re­sults between Team 1 and 3, Alex OgilvieKnight won 3/27-0/4 over Di Law while Lyn Muller cruised past Belinda Faust 3/27-0/7.

Judy Hughes got the bet­ter of Cather­ine Mau 3/27-0/10 and Brenda Cowan took the points over Di O’Don­nell 3/270/13. Mar­ian Church­ward took down An­drea Mitchell (play­ing for Robyn Nixon) 3/27-1/15 to high­light Team 2’s clash with Team 4.

An­drea Mitchell won her sec­ond game, de­feat­ing Aimee Mitchell 3/27-0/8 while Re­becca Richards knocked over Lucy Pep­per 3/29-0/22.

Jenny Mo­ranino eclipsed Nicki Mur­ray 3/27-0/4 and Deb­bie Brown ousted Lucy Pep­per (play­ing for Joy Vi­tanza) 3/28-0/11.

Next week Team 2 will play Team 3 while Team 1 faces Team 4. Team 2 is in charge of smoko.
