BREAK and enter cases continue to be prominent throughout the Whitsunday region, with a further four reported in the past week. Police have been alerted to an incident which occurred on August 19 between 11-11.30am at Magnums, where the victim’s wallet has been taken from accommodation. A separate case occurred at a Flametree residence on August 19 between 7-9pm. An unknown suspect has gained entry to a caravan by cutting a hole. Nothing was reported stolen. The third incident occurred on August 21 between 10.30am and midday on Shute Harbour Road. An unknown suspect gained entry into a locked premises by the door, and removed items from a bed-side table. Whitsunday Police have also been alerted to an incident which is believed to have occurred between July 20 and August 15 at an Orchid Road, Cannon Valley residence. An intruder has gained entry into the premises by breaking a window. Nothing has been reported stolen.
