Un­wanted visi­tors

BREAK and en­ter cases con­tinue to be prom­i­nent through­out the Whit­sun­day re­gion, with a fur­ther four re­ported in the past week. Po­lice have been alerted to an in­ci­dent which oc­curred on Au­gust 19 between 11-11.30am at Mag­nums, where the vic­tim’s wal­let has been taken from ac­com­mo­da­tion. A sep­a­rate case oc­curred at a Flame­tree res­i­dence on Au­gust 19 between 7-9pm. An un­known sus­pect has gained en­try to a car­a­van by cut­ting a hole. Noth­ing was re­ported stolen. The third in­ci­dent oc­curred on Au­gust 21 between 10.30am and mid­day on Shute Har­bour Road. An un­known sus­pect gained en­try into a locked premises by the door, and re­moved items from a bed-side ta­ble. Whit­sun­day Po­lice have also been alerted to an in­ci­dent which is be­lieved to have oc­curred between July 20 and Au­gust 15 at an Orchid Road, Can­non Val­ley res­i­dence. An in­truder has gained en­try into the premises by break­ing a win­dow. Noth­ing has been re­ported stolen.
