A MARIAN man has been caught driving 129km/hr in a 100km/hr zone while over the blood alcohol limit at the weekend. The 38-year-old was intercepted by Proserpine Police at 3.25pm on August 22 on the Bruce Highway, Lethebrook. The driver produced a reading of .086 and will appear in the Proserpine Magistrate’s Court at a later date. On August 23 a seperate incident occured, where a 24-year-old Proserpine man was intercepted on Faust Street. The driver, who was tested at 1.50am on Saturday, produced a reading higher than .101 and will appear in the Proserpine Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
