Social tennis dominates the courts in Cannonvale
TUESDAY social tennis was a knockout affair this week.
In the afternoon the girls enjoyed an entertaining set of ladies doubles with classic cross-court rallies a feature.
Merle Foot, Kay Hoare, Rae Miller and Anna Nowicki all stood out.
In the evening it was the men who shone, with Darren Rusk, Keith Miles, Rick Galea and Tad Nowicki all impressing.
Just Do It Junior Social Tennis was a lively affair. The match of the afternoon was between Cameron Rusk and Cameron Rogers, who played Sienna Mau and Rebeka Beveridge.
The boys won, however the girls took out the rematch later on.
Matthew Cowan and Jesse Cowan also played a game. Wednesday Warriors had a guest coach in attendance, who focussed on fitness.
The session made for a lively affair, with Nick Cullen and Sam Johnson running ragged.
