PROSERPINE’S Roy Dunn has bounced back from a disappointing disqualification in Mackay to finish top four in Rockhampton at the weekend.

New Zealand’s Fraser Babbington was victorious on Saturday night at the Rural Weekly Pro Bull Riding Tour Live Series, producing a score of 174.5.

Dunn tied with Josh Lock on 83.5 at Browne Park and remained optimistic moving into the future.

“I just need to take away some silly mistakes,” he said.

“You always have to take away positives to carry on to the next event. Bundaberg is coming up in two weeks and hopefully I draw well and come away with a good result.”

Dunn has already won events in Mount Isa and Innisfail this season.

The Bundaberg Pro Bull Riding Tour will take place on Saturday, October 11.
