Theatre star coming to Proserpine

Whitsunday Times - - CHILL -

“WITH a smile that could light up the Sydney Opera House and a voice that's as big, bold and colourful as Uluru, Rhonda Burchmore has endeared herself to the hearts of all Australians.”

This is the official website description of the star who will grace the stage at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre for today’s ‘Morning Melodies’, starting at 11am.

Rhonda Burchmore is a performer of some 30 years standing, who has forged a career for herself in one of the toughest and most unforgiving industries, while continuing to go from strength to strength. Since her first performance as Kate in The Pirate Movie of 1982, Rhonda has worked alongside some of the biggest stars in the business and played to over 60,000 people in her own spectacular cabaret ‘Red Hot & Rhonda’.

Now, with three decades of show business under her belt, the flame-haired beauty is continuing to turn heads and draw thunderous applause wherever she performs.

At her performance today, audiences can expect to get up close and personal with a woman regarded as one of Australia’s major theatrical stars.

The cost for today’s performance is $12 and morning tea will be available from 10am. For information or to book, call 4945 2312.
