TOUCH FOOT­BALL

BLACK­OUT has won an en­ter­tain­ing, high-scor­ing stoush with Madames in the weekly Air­lie Touch com­pe­ti­tion.

Black­out roared to a 14-11 vic­tory on Mon­day night at the Whit­sun­day Sportspark, over­com­ing its op­po­nents in a try-scor­ing feast.

Amal­ga­mated was also vic­to­ri­ous, down­ing Whit­sun­day Food 10-6 while Din­goes got the bet­ter of Eclipse 12-5.

Boat­ies swept past Wolves 8-3 while Air­lie Mixed cruised past Jets 9-4.

Eclipse A edged past Young Guns 2-1 to round out re­sults from this week.

In other touch news, more than 60 ju­niors turned out for the as­so­ci­a­tion’s new term.

Ju­nior touch starts at 5.15pm each Mon­day at the Whit­sun­day Sportspark.
