Magnums enters Hall of Fame

MAGNUMS Backpackers received the Backpacker Accommodation award for the third year running at the Whitsunday Tourism and Business Awards on Saturday night, earning them a spot in the prestigious awards’ Hall of Fame.

Magnums Resort Manager Vicki Kohler said the continued recognition was welcome.

“It means we’re consistent with what we’re doing,” she said.

“We are always striving to improve and will always continue to improve and it’s great to know for three years in a row that people have agreed with us and we’re doing a great job. We’d just like to thank all our staff that all work together to make sure Magnums is a great place to stay.”

Magnums is Airlie Beach’s most central backpackers accommodation and is passionately operated by a group of highly motivated and skilled locals.

Magnums comprises a purpose-built backpacker resort in a rainforest setting, plus a licensed travel agent with a diverse range of products. Magnums is often known as the Whitsundays’ original backpacker resort.
