Whit­sun­day Es­cape con­tin­ues run of awards


Whit­sun­day Es­cape were proud win­ners at the Whit­sun­day Tourism Awards on Satur­day.

They were named a fi­nal­ist in two cat­e­gories and won an award.

Whit­sun­day Es­cape won the award for Best Unique Ac­com­mo­da­tion for the third year in a row, earn­ing a place in his­tory on the Whit­sun­day Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.

Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor Trevor Rees was hum­bled by the win.

“Hav­ing en­tered the Whit­sun­day Tourism Awards ev­ery year for almost a decade, be­ing recog­nised as an in­dus­try leader for the third year in a row, and the re­sult­ing en­try into the Hall of Fame, is an hon­our we are very proud of, ” he said. “The team here at Whit­sun­day Es­cape put in so much ef­fort to en­sure we con­tin­u­ally of­fer the best prod­uct we can. I’m so proud of all the staff, and thank them whole heart­edly for their com­mit­ment to the business.

“The com­pe­ti­tion gets tougher ev­ery year, and we are very hum­bled to be recog­nised in such a prom­i­nent field of ex­cel­lent tourism busi­nesses,” Mr Rees said.

Whit­sun­day Es­cape were also awarded Fi­nal­ist in two other cat­e­gories - Ad­ven­ture Tourism and Peo­ple’s Choice.
