Zero tol­er­ance

OF­FI­CER in Charge of the Whit­sun­day Po­lice Sta­tion, Act­ing Se­nior Sergeant Brad Teys, is warn­ing peo­ple who uri­nate in pub­lic that they will be banned from the Safe Night Precinct of Air­lie Beach.

A 20-year-old New South Wales man was ar­rested and is­sued with a ban­ning no­tice after he was found uri­nat­ing out­side Mag­nums Ho­tel at 12.50am on Oc­to­ber 25 and a 37-year-old Glen­view man met the same fate after he was seen uri­nat­ing on a car at 1.50am on the same date.

Act. Snr Sgt Teys said for any lo­cals who uri­nate in the town “there will be zero tol­er­ance of it be­cause they show no re­spect”.
