Innovation is at the heart of the busines
INNOVATION has always been at the heart of how Cliff and Freya Hill run their business and they certainly intend to keep innovating.
"Adapt or die," Mr Hill said in his straightforward way.
"We have been around a long time but that's only because we keep ahead of building trends and customer demands. We sold three houses in one week in February - we must be doing something right."
Mr Hill said Colony Building Group was about to launch a new range of architecturally designed homes.
The premium range is "under wraps" at the moment but an announcement is coming soon.
The company has also just re-designed its complete range of homes to keep up with customer feedback, and is bringing in plenty of new fittings such as tiles, taps and bathroom accessories so customers can personalise their homes.
"I think the important thing is to listen," Mrs Hill adds, who loves the side of the business that allows her to consult with clients on finishes.
In line with its mantra of staying ahead of the game, Colony Building Group has just redesigned its logo, relaunched its website and redone all of its signage along the highway.
With the new premium range of archi- tect-designed homes launching soon and Stage 2a of Whitsunday Acres being planned, the business is well positioned for the next surge of demand.
"We are continually investing in our business with the aim of improving it in every way," Mr Hill said. "Innovation is a word that is used often nowadays but true innovation takes patience, persistence and planning - and we certainly intend being here for the long haul."
