Wonderful Women’s Day

Whitsunday Times - - WHITSUNDAY NEWS AND VIEWS -

THE Zonta Whitsunday’s International Women’s Day morning tea on Sunday 1st March was a wonderful success in many ways.

It was a fantastic opportunity to share an elegant morning tea with other women, to network and to be entertained by an inspirational speaker and to enjoy a stylish fashion parade. It was gratifying too, to have our fundraising targets achieved.

The function was successful because of the hardworking committee who organised every detail so efficiently, the local community who provided prizes, venue, fashion garments and accessories and in some cases attended our annual event.

It is great to be part of a community that supports local endeavours so generously, for this we thank you wholeheartedly. That our local leaders were present added to the sense of occasion,

Cath Fernbach ZONTA CLUB OF THE WHITSUNDAYS
