Happy Snap­pers gear up for arts expo

TAL­ENT is com­ing out of the wood­work as lo­cal artists and pho­tog­ra­phers pre­pare for the Glouces­ter Hid­den Tal­ent Art Expo held over the Easter week­end in two weeks.

The Glouces­ter Hid­den Tal­ent Art Expo will be held on April 4 and 5 ex­hibit­ing paint­ings, photography, jew­ellery, fi­bre art and quilt­ing and is held at the Glouces­ter Sports and Recre­ation Club­house (GSRS) in Hy­de­away Bay.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will in­clude lo­cal groups such as keen pho­tog­ra­phers the Happy Snap­pers and the colour­ful ladies from The Tarts of Glouces­ter - just to name a few.

Happy Snap­pers mem­ber Sue Ibbs said most mem­bers from the club would have some­thing on dis­play at the Art Expo.

The group meet on the sec­ond Fri­day of each month to sup­port and en­cour­age their love of photography.

Each month they se­lect a dif­fer­ent sub­ject to pho­to­graph as well as cre­ate chal­lenges.
