Happy Snappers gear up for arts expo
TALENT is coming out of the woodwork as local artists and photographers prepare for the Gloucester Hidden Talent Art Expo held over the Easter weekend in two weeks.
The Gloucester Hidden Talent Art Expo will be held on April 4 and 5 exhibiting paintings, photography, jewellery, fibre art and quilting and is held at the Gloucester Sports and Recreation Clubhouse (GSRS) in Hydeaway Bay.
The exhibition will include local groups such as keen photographers the Happy Snappers and the colourful ladies from The Tarts of Gloucester - just to name a few.
Happy Snappers member Sue Ibbs said most members from the club would have something on display at the Art Expo.
The group meet on the second Friday of each month to support and encourage their love of photography.
Each month they select a different subject to photograph as well as create challenges.
“There are no hard and fast rules, no stress and no prizes
