Active fun to get the those joints moving

Whitsunday Times - - LOOK GOOD FEEL GOOD -

WEDNESDAY mornings are now a funfilled affair at the Whitsunday PCYC thanks to the Over 50s Social Club.

The morning kicks off with a fitness circuit class at 9am, followed by pilates at 10.15am and singing with the Coral C Voices at 11.30am. Whitsunday PCYC branch support officer Jo Pillifeant said the activities were designed for both male and females.

“Our sessions are enjoyed in a social and friendly atmosphere, catering for people over 50 years of age,” she said.

Coral C Voices are always adding new songs to their repertoire and they know how to find anyone’s inner songstress. Ms Pillifeant said they are currently looking for both males and females who want to try their hand at singing.

Everyone who wants to share some fun, friendship and gentle fitness is encouraged to come along and try an activity or two.

Wednesdays are topped off with an inclusive morning tea so you can catch up or wind down with a steaming hot cuppa.

Prices are only $6 per call for PCYC senior members and casual visits are available.
