Fast Boat­ies sink Wolves

THE Wolves were cap­sized by boat­ies in a thrilling Whit­sun­day Touch en­counter on Mon­day night.

The Whit­sun­day Sportspark hosted the ex­hil­a­rat­ing game, which saw Boat­ies pre­vail 6-5.

In other re­sults, Eclipse C tri­umphed over Madammes 5-3 while Ray White ac­counted for Young Guns 8-3.

Heat­stroke were also win­ners on the night, sweep­ing past Chris­tian Col­lege 9-2

Eclipse/Jets won on for­feit against Gro­godiles to com­plete the night’s play.

B-grade has been re­duced to four teams be­cause Har­vey Nor­man and Din­goes were un­able to com­mit to a team.

In other news, Whit­sun­day Touch held its AGM last night where it was an­nounced Mark Beale would con­tinue as pres­i­dent.

Bernard Woods (vice-pres­i­dent), Chloe Autridge (sec­re­tary), Justin But­ler (trea­surer) and Yvette Porter (com­mit­tee mem­ber) will com­prise the re­main­der of the com­mit­tee.

Touch will con­tinue on Mon­day night at the Whit­sun­day Sportspark how­ever it will break for Easter and the school hol­i­days.
