Levi’s plans set in concrete

Whitsunday Times - - LOCAL NEWS -

A NEW face is behind Cannonvale Concrete Products and with him comes practiced staff.

Cannonvale Concrete Products has been operating in the Whitsundays since 2003.

From humble beginnings supplying grey masonry blocks to local builders, they are now a major supplier of a large range of specific building and civil construction products throughout Central Queensland.

Levi Deering took on the business in the middle of last year.

Mr Deering has been a landscaper for 15 years. “It’s in my blood. My Dad’s a landscaper. I started when I was in high school and with that came the interest in concrete,” he said.

“I personally enjoy paving; it’s nice to work with and seeing a finished product.”

Proudly standing beside him is Mr Deering’s purposely small staff of two.

Casey Hall works as a truck driver and yardman and Jason Manley is yard supervisor.

And with fresh comes a fresh vision.

“I want to be more involved in the local building industry by strengthening customer relationships,” Mr Deering said.

A long-term goal is to increase the firm’s product range.

“We already have the biggest range of paving and retainer wall blocks – I have big plans for our future,” Mr Deering said.
