New juice bar is boosting the fun in Airlie Beach
AUSTRALIA’S best known juice bar is coming to Airlie Beach Main Street.
Opening today, Boost Juice Airlie Beach is the first in the franchise to service the area.
Owners Andy and Sarah Williams are bringing their eight years of experience in the industry to ensure some of the tastiest treats on offer.
“We love having somewhere that we can go and buy our children a healthy, nutritious beverage and we believe that Boost provides a fantastic niche for people who want a healthy option for fast food,” Mrs Williams said.
Boost boasts an extensive range of low-fat smoothies, crushes and freshly squeezed juices, as well as fresh yogurts, fruit salads, banana bread and protein balls.
Making sure everything is to your liking will be group manager Cam Smith, the 2014 Boost Business Manager of the Year.
“He’s bringing a lot of new and exciting ideas to the store,” Mrs Williams said.
The couple are also aiming to support the local community by sourcing their produce locally where possible.
“North Queensland has some fantastic fruit and veg available and it’s just better for the economy,” Mrs Williams said.
Local staff are also important to the couple.
“We’ve got a fantastic bunch of young people that we’ve hired and they’re coming with us on the journey,” Mrs Williams said.
“We’re so excited about working with the local people.”
Mrs Williams said this was all part of Boost Juice becoming part of the Airlie Beach community.
“The other thing that Boost brings is a sense of fun,” she said.
“Airlie is a really fun community for visitors and locals and there seems to be a fantastic vibe.
“I think Boost is going to fit really well into that fun.”
