New juice bar is boost­ing the fun in Air­lie Beach

AUSTRALIA’S best known juice bar is com­ing to Air­lie Beach Main Street.

Open­ing to­day, Boost Juice Air­lie Beach is the first in the fran­chise to ser­vice the area.

Own­ers Andy and Sarah Wil­liams are bring­ing their eight years of ex­pe­ri­ence in the in­dus­try to en­sure some of the tasti­est treats on of­fer.

“We love hav­ing some­where that we can go and buy our chil­dren a healthy, nu­tri­tious bev­er­age and we be­lieve that Boost pro­vides a fan­tas­tic niche for peo­ple who want a healthy op­tion for fast food,” Mrs Wil­liams said.

Boost boasts an ex­ten­sive range of low-fat smooth­ies, crushes and freshly squeezed juices, as well as fresh yo­gurts, fruit sal­ads, ba­nana bread and pro­tein balls.

Mak­ing sure ev­ery­thing is to your lik­ing will be group manager Cam Smith, the 2014 Boost Busi­ness Manager of the Year.

“He’s bring­ing a lot of new and ex­cit­ing ideas to the store,” Mrs Wil­liams said.

The cou­ple are also aim­ing to sup­port the lo­cal com­mu­nity by sourc­ing their pro­duce lo­cally where pos­si­ble.

“North Queens­land has some fan­tas­tic fruit and veg avail­able and it’s just bet­ter for the econ­omy,” Mrs Wil­liams said.

Lo­cal staff are also im­por­tant to the cou­ple.

“We’ve got a fan­tas­tic bunch of young peo­ple that we’ve hired and they’re com­ing with us on the jour­ney,” Mrs Wil­liams said.

“We’re so ex­cited about work­ing with the lo­cal peo­ple.”

Mrs Wil­liams said this was all part of Boost Juice be­com­ing part of the Air­lie Beach com­mu­nity.

“The other thing that Boost brings is a sense of fun,” she said.

“Air­lie is a re­ally fun com­mu­nity for vis­i­tors and lo­cals and there seems to be a fan­tas­tic vibe.

“I think Boost is go­ing to fit re­ally well into that fun.”
