Whitsunday went down 16.8.104 to 5.8.38 at Magpies Sports Park, slipping to a fourth defeat of the year.
The first quarter sealed the Sea Eagles’ fate as the Magpies bolted away for a 33-1 quarter-time lead.
Whitsunday managed to kick three majors in the second term but Northern Beaches maintained control of the game to extend their advantage 40-points.
Magpies added seven goals to two in the second half, recording just their second win of the season in the process.
Nathan Alford kicked two goals while coach Matt Laskey, Daniel Moss and Eli Gunders also hit the scoreboard.
Brent Gale, Chris Bray, Luke McCaul and Trent Bradley were among the best players.
This weekend the Sea Eagles return to the Whitsunday Sportspark where they will host Creek Tigers.
Bakers Creek has just one win from its four outings this season, opening the door for a Whitsunday outfit that will be in the comfort of their own backyard.

The game kicks off at 2.45pm on Saturday.
