THE Raiders are undefeated since coach Rama Chand took over the whiteboard but he said he would continue to ask more and more of his group as each week passed.

Whitsunday continued its good form of late, overcoming Mackay City on Saturday in a grand final rematch.

While there was clear improvement in the team, particularly in the second half, Chand said the benchmark would grow.

“They’ve been with me for four weeks now,” he said.

“Every week they know my expectation level goes up and they started delivering today... every player played.”

Whitsunday trailed 14-8 at halftime before running home with a wet sail to atone for a disappointing round one loss to Redskins.

Prop Bill Crossley crossed in the final 10 minutes to secure a hard-fought victory
