Un­der-8s in strong win

RUGBY LEAGUE: The Proser­pine Whit­sun­day Ju­nior Brah­mans had four wins on Satur­day morn­ing, led by a dom­i­nant per­for­mance by the un­der-8s.

They were clin­i­cal in their dis­man­tling of Broth­ers at the Proser­pine Ju­nior Sports Com­plex and won 46-6.

In other re­sults the un­der-9s went down to Broth­ers 16-8 while the un­der-12s were caught in a stale­mate.

Nei­ther the Brah­mans nor Broth­ers could find the line, leav­ing the score locked at 0-0 af­ter an epic tus­sle.

The un­der-13s went down to Broth­ers 22-16 in a thriller while the 14s played out a sim­i­larly close en­counter.

Broth­ers won 24-22 in what was one of the games of the day.

The un­der-15s re­joiced with a well-de­served 20-12 win over Broth­ers while the 16s were tri­umphant on the road.

Whit­sun­day’s un­der-16s beat Sa­rina 36-6 in Mackay in what was a con­vinc­ing dis­play.

The un­der-7s won one of their two games on Satur­day.

In their first match they went down 32-8 de­spite a gutsy per­for­mance be­fore bounc­ing back in their sec­ond game to win 32-16.
