Hill and Her­weg win ag­gre­gate stable­ford

WHIT­SUN­DAY GOLF: Mal Hill and Wilf Her­weg teamed up to win the Whit­sun­day Golf Club’s sin­gle stable­ford ag­gre­gate on Sun­day.

The duo carded 78 points to fin­ish clear of Ian Giles and David Hoy (69), Ross Richards and Brad Ham­mond (68) and 20 other com­peti­tors.

Kym Hill had the long­est drive in A-grade while Reg Kercher (B-grade), Jac­qui Wall, Penny Wardroper (Agrade ladies) and Lorry Thynne each claimed a prize in their re­spec­tive di­vi­sions.

Near­est-the-pins were won by Ross Richards and Brad Ham­mond (no. 2 and 13) and Rod Wecker and Leanne Aber­nethy (9 and 16).

This week the Whit­sun­day Golf Club will con­test the Air­lie Panel and Paint Monthly Medal – an 18-hole stroke com­pe­ti­tion.

FIRST AND SEC­OND: David Hoy and Ian Giles fin­ished sec­ond on Sun­day while Wilf Her­weg and Mal Hill were the over­all win­ners.
