Safe TALK comes to town

Whitsunday Times - - LOCAL NEWS -

AFTER much talk, hard work and dogged determination by the Whitsunday Bald Eagles, the Lifeline program safeTALK is finally coming to our town.

This is a recognised training program teaching us to be aware of the signs of depression in our friends and workmates – relaying the motto the Bald Eagles often use of “mates looking after mates”.

There will be training sessions with the Whitsunday Sea Eagles and the Whitsunday Brahmans on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

A training session for members of the community will also be held on Wednesday, June 24, at the Neighbourhood Centre in Cannonvale between 11am and 2pm.

Contact Tamara Noble on 4946 7850 to book your spot as numbers are limited.
