Regatta home to star on TV hit show

Whitsunday Times - - LOCAL NEWS -

STUNNING homes are just another element of paradise here in the Whitsundays, with some of our houses even noted by the big guns.

Gary Takle and his crew from Best Houses Australia have been in the region filming a home at the new Regatta Waters estate in Cannonvale.

The open-style home at 1 Spritsail Crescent, uses light and modern colours to combine luxury and nature.

It features minimalist style architecture, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern living area, pool and double lockup garage.

The home was designed and built by Airlie Designs director Eileen Arriguetti who was thrilled to accept the television series’ invitation to film.

“He loved the area and couldn’t believe the weather was so nice in winter,” she said of presenter Gary Takle, adding he had breakfast at La Tabella “and was very impressed with the service and quality of food”.

Mr Tackle compared the home to something you’d see in California’s Beverly Hills and made special note of the entry and openness of the whole design.

The home will be featured on the luxury edition of Best Houses Australia airing in the second week of July.

Engineer Gary Goddard from GW Goddard and Associates and LJ Hooker Whitsunday principal Jess Hunter also took part in the filming of this episode.
