Lo­cals light up Finch Hat­ton Ag Show

HORSE RID­ING: Proser­pine horse riders showed Finch Hat­ton they’ve got the goods, tak­ing home a swag of ti­tles at the town’s agri­cul­tural show last week­end.

Baylee and Reigan Evans joined Sue and Am­ber Green­halgh in brav­ing the wild weather.

Baylee came home as Cham­pion Show Hunter Gal­loway, as well as Re­serve Cham­pion Ju­nior Rider.

The Green­halgh fam­ily’s Su-Am Cap­tain claimed Cham­pion Led Thor­ough­bred.

Am­ber Green­halgh was im­pres­sive, as al­ways, tak­ing out Re­serve Cham­pion Hack and Cham­pion Show Hunter Hack on Su-Am.

In other news, the Proser­pine Hack and Pony Club is invit­ing riders to at­tend the North Queens­land Eques­trian Show and North Queens­land New­comer Hack 2015 at the Proser­pine Pony Club Grounds from 8am to 3pm on Sun­day.
