Man fined for having restricted medicines
A 51-YEAR-OLD man found with seven types of restricted drugs has been fined $550.
William Michael Buder was escorted by police to the Proserpine Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
He pleaded guilty charged.
The court was told his Airlie Beach home was searched at 4.20pm on May 28.
Prosecutor Elizabeth Smith said police found
as 28 Viagra tablets and small quantities of six other types of restricted drugs.
The court heard Buder was on a suspended sentence at the time, imposed in the Mackay Magistrate’s Court just last month.
The suspended sentence was for charges of common assault, unlawful wounding and going armed to cause fear after an incident in Airlie Beach on April 6 last year.
