Ted is back ... and wants to be a dad?

Whitsunday Times - - CHILL -

THE foul-mouthed teddy bear and his human sidekick return to cinemas after a threeyear wait.

Ted 2 opens at Bowen Summergarden Cinemas tonight at 8.20pm.

In the first film, there’s loose language and some very absurd scenes from the comedy but this time it is very diffe- rent from that.

Ted is now living happily ever after and married to Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth).

After some time of married life, he decides he wants to become a father but has obvious obstacles to face with his human wife. John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) generously offers himself as the sperm donor but there are legal hindrances the couple must surpass.

To become a parent, Ted first needs to prove in a court of law that he is a person and not just a stuffed toy.

So far little is known about how creator Seth MacFarlane has managed to construct this comedy but he has already remarked that “it will be crazier than ever”. From the trailer and other information known, things look quite promising and fun.

One big difference between the first film and the sequel is the emphasis on whose story has been told. First it was John, now it’s Ted.

Information for the review was sourced from IMDB.com.
